Ever needed a truck but didn’t have a friend willing to loan you theirs?
Like Uber, Bungii uses an app to connect people who need a truck with people who have a truck.
Got furniture to move? Send a photo of it to Bungii and truck-owners working with the service can accept your job and be on their way to you.
Founder Ben Jackson says the cost for Kansas City users is a dollar per minute and a dollar per mile, with the average cost to users being about $35. Expensive if you’re moving an entire house, but not bad if you just need to get your new couch home.
For now, Bungii is only in Kansas City; Lawrence, Kansas; and Atlanta. But the company hopes to be active in 12 cities by 2019.
