This is Texas Racing: The Ranch Hand and the Twisted Whip

The Heart of Texas racing gets uncovered in a barn.

Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo was in need of some work, so naturally he made his way to small town Texas to serve as a ranch hand.

Or at least that's what we're led to believe in this video shared on Facebook. Check out what he finds in the barn while pitching some hay.

Now THAT is a Texas race car!

The burnout looked even cooler with the dust flying in the farmyard. Obviously, Texas has a rich racing history and culture, but this really drives the point home.

The Circuit of the Americas track outside of Austin hosts the U.S. Grand Prix, and of course the Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth seats more than 180,000, but the real heart of Texas racing beats in the small towns that dot the state.

And even though you wouldn't expect it, those country boys know a thing or two about racing!
