Ready for the rally? The Polaris Slingshot team is, and have some cool things in store.
If you're heading to Sturgis this year for the bike rally, the Polaris Slingshot folks have cooked up some pretty awesome experiences for owners and fans during the week-long celebration.
You know the Slingshot: It's that open air, three-wheeled motorcycle that's spinning tires around the country's roads and risen in popularity tenfold over the last couple years.
There are opportunities for a Slingshot Joyride (August 3-11), Demo Drive (August 3-11), and an Owner's Ride and Afterparty (August 9th).
The Joyride will include the debut of Slingshot's Course that gives riders a shotgun experience in the three-wheeled, five-speed, 173-horsepower Slingshot roadster. Professional drivers will be there to navigate "The Ultimate Joyride" through a custom-built drift course. Sounds sweet, right?
The Demo Rides will originate at Rice's Rushmore Motorsports and give folks a real feel for the GM Ecotec 2.4L DOHC four-cylinder engine that's in each of the new models in Slingshot's 2019 lineup.
To top it all off, a Club Slingshot Owner's Ride through the Black Hills (when you're in that part of South Dakota, is there any other place to go?) and wrapping up with food and entertainment at Sturgis Buffalo Chip. Even cooler, the first 175 owners registered for the ride will receive tickets to the Kid Rock show that night.
