Kia teased its newest Super Bowl ad on YouTube, wooing audiences with the tagline "Feel Something Again."
In this 15-second clip, a mystery driver is seen starting the engine of a red Stinger GT2 at an abandoned racetrack. Brazilian racing legend Emerson Fittipaldi makes a cameo, leaning against a second, silver Stinger to its left. As the clip ends, the two-time Formula One and Indy 500 champion gives a discerning nod to the red Stinger.
Who is driving the red Stinger? Are they going to race? We had to wait until February 4th to find out, sometime during a Super Bowl LII third-quarter commercial break.
And this is what we learned:
Okay then! Not what we were expecting, but a memorable car commercial nonetheless.
