Check Out This List of Rejected Vanity Plates in Ohio

If you think that left-lane-hogging car in front of you needs to R3VO3VOM, then you will definitely appreciate this list.

Vanity plates are a great way to let you and your car stand out from the crowd a little (whether on the road or in a parking lot), but they can also hide subtle messages - messages that the DMV doesn't necessarily want you to display.

In the ongoing cat-and-mouse game to 'Stick it to the Man,' people try to find clever ways to disguise their eight-character-or-less message, while the DMV employees do their best to keep license plates civil.

As an indication of just how big of a challenge this can be, this news report provides a list of more than 400 vanity plates that were rejected by the Ohio BMV from May 2017 through April 2018.

The list ranges from funny to downright offensive, and it's easy to see why they were not allowed. Others will take more imagination to read into the message.

Here are a few notables:

  • I POOPED
  • NFLSUX
  • R3DRUUM
  • OOHKLLM
  • ITCHY
  • SHAGG1N
  • MUAHA
  • SHORTBS
  • CARJACK
  • CRIMINAL
  • M1CH SUX
  • XKKXKK
  • JEEP AF
  • HOOTERZ
