Bull Elk Faces Off With Truck on Snowy Road

When a bull elk doesn't want to move, not much will change its mind.

This beautiful bull elk just really wants to stay on this nicely plowed road. Witness the scene as this bull elk faces off with a truck.

Lots of traffic on the way to the cabin last night. I happened upon these elk and moose buddies, and can't help but feel like the elk is giving his pal a head start. The snow is so deep I had to follow them until the road forked and luckily they took a right where I go left 😁

Animal, like humans, can be very stubborn. This bull elk should get an award for its stubbornness.

The video shows just how big and stubborn a bull elk can be. This one just doesn't want to move over. That snow off the road looks mighty deep, so it figures it can stare down into the vehicle and it will leave. But no, the standoff continues.

Wildlife in the winter love to travel packed down or plowed areas where walking and foraging is easier. Driving during those months keep your eyes open when driving as you might just see an elk facing off with you too.
