Sealegs is an idea born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand about 10 years ago. The amphibious watercraft can be launched or retrieved on any decent beach or boat ramp!
The wheels can be raised into the "up" position once in the water and are put down for landing just before reaching shore.
It's an awesome and fun idea, but quite pricey for the average boater. I found one for sale in Poole, Dorset, UK for a mere $178,076 USD. Bottom line, if we could have one, we would! Can you say bucket list?
