Mark McNabb

Mark McNabb has been obsessively covering the automotive industry and reviewing vehicles since 2013. Growing up, Mark always had a mind for tinkering on random items throughout his home and dad’s garage, including a 1953 Ford Mainline and 1971 Corvette Stingray.

He could even be found working on tractors or hay bailers while on vacation at his uncle’s farm. Mark’s spare time was heavily consumed by reading automotive magazines and wondering how the heck people landed jobs testing cars all day. He eventually figured it out.

Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2010 from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. A few jobs and career changes later, Mark landed his first automotive writing position with AutoTalk.com before moving to TopSpeed.com shortly after. He joined Wide Open Roads in early 2018.

Though some swanky press car usually graces his driveway, he still enjoys driving his 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer. It might not be a cultural icon or a future collectible, but the Chevy is part of his family, along with his wife Brittany and three kids.
