Check out the newest Luke Bryan and Chevrolet commercial released for the Country Music Association Awards.
We knew Luke Bryan was already connected with Chevy, but this commercial set to run during the CMA Awards left little doubt they’re cashing in on the relationship.
By “cashing in,” we mean in marketing terms and in check cashing terms. There’s no denying the fact that Bryan is making money off this deal, but Chevrolet is awfully smart to zoom in on the Heartland market this way. There are worse affiliations a car company could make than a mainstream country music star.
Maybe there’s a little sappiness in this one (was the truck really right there when you proposed to your future wife? C’mon!), but overall, it’s a decent truck commercial, and representative of where the world of autos is going: to the Heartland, behind the wheel of a pickup.
